Below a selection of my (public) activities. I am currently working on:

  • Just started the new NWO-funded project “Designing for Controversies in Responsible Smart Cities”.
  • Wrapping up our ‘Playful Citizen’ edited volume, due to come out later this year at Amsterdam University Press.
  • Wrapping up our ‘Hackable City’ edited volume, due to come out later this year with Springer.
  • Co-editing a Leonardo Electronic Almanac special issue on ‘Urban Interfaces’, with colleagues Nanna Verhoeff & Sigrid Merx.
  • Co-authoring a paper with former visiting PhD scholar Delaram Ashtari on urban games, and Redesire.
  • Finalizing a chapter about “The Right to the Datafied City” for a forthcoming book about “The Right to the Smart City”, edited by Rob Kitchin, Paolo Cardullo, and Cesare di Feliciantonio.
